ERKAN MUSTAFA
Erkan shot to fame in the 1980's playing Roland Browning, one of the most iconic characters of BAFTA winning BBC children's drama Grange Hill, that had veiwing figures of 15 million. During his time on the show Erkan was part of many memorable story lines, including Zammo's drug addiction. This story line led the cast to record the top five single 'Just Say No' as part of an anti-drugs campaign of the same name, championed by first lady Nancy Reagan. Nancy invited the cast to the White House, leading to them performing the song at the world renowned Yankee Stadium in front of an 80,000 strong audience.
With over 30 years in the entertainment industry, Erkan has appeared in many TV programs, alongside such luminaries as Rowan Atkinson, Jim Broadbent, Miriam Margolyes, Lenny Henry & John Hannah. He has also appeared on Celebrity Juice, Pointless Celebrities, many top 100 list shows & is a regular on Soccer AM.
As well as acting & presenting, Erkan has been a writer, producer, promoter, event organiser & club DJ.
